What happens in the sessions?

Here is a breakdown of what happens after your free initial session.

Using Zoom

All our sessions will take place online using a teleconferencing platform called ‘Zoom‘, which is similar to ‘Skype’, but far more flexible. I will provide you with a link for you to use for all of our sessions.

Plan

After the initial session, I will prepare a framework with a suggested plan for our first month or two of Neurolanguage Coaching®* sessions, looking at the first English language goals which you identified in the initial sessions.

During each session, we will follow the plan for that session, making sure that you are confident and comfortable with what we have covered in the session before moving on.

Session Review & Feedback

Towards the end of each session and the beginning of the following session, we’ll briefly review what we have covered and address any questions you may have. Then, if you feel comfortable doing so, we’ll proceed to the plan for that session.

Consolidation

Between each session, it is important to find time to consolidate what you have learned, so after each session, we will decide on some practice work to do. We will review this at the beginning of the following session.

Plan Review

Once the first set of Neurolanguage Coaching®* sessions has finished, we will review how you are progressing with your goals. At this point, if you feel confident and comfortable moving on, we can pass to the following goals you identified in the initial session. However, if you feel you’d like to spend more time on a particular goal, we will amend the plan and make sure you feel confident that you have reached your goal before moving on to the next. Don’t worry, we won’t move forward until you’re ready to do so!

Summary

How we work on achieving your goals will depend on you, and the kind of activities which you find helpful! Through neuroscience and coaching techniques, we know that learning is much more effective and lasts longer when you are actively involved in how you learn.
